Cranium Kernel is your solution. The Kernel overclocks your Explorer's processor's speed upto 1.3 Ghz for pure Gaming Experience. Because the frequency of your Processor is being increased, this eats up the phone's Battery at a faster rate.



Note: Overclocking may damage your phone. In that case the owner of the phone is responsible for the damage.

This Kernel will ONLY work with Jaggy ROM. Trying to flash it with other ROMs may result in permanent brick of the devices.  Jaggy ROM here.

This Guide assumes that your Phone is rooted and that you have Partitioned your SD Card. If not head here for Rooting your Pico and here to create a Partitioned SD Card.



Steps to Overclock HTC Explorer

• Flash the Jaggy ROM on your Pico. See this thread for details on how to flash. If already flashed, skip this step.

• Download the Cranium Kernel here. Place the zip file in the root of your SD card (/sdcard).

• Reboot the phone into recovery mode.

• Select 'install zip from sd card" and locate the zip file you downloaded. Confirm and Flash the zip.

• Reboot your Device.

• Download and install SetCPU from here.

• Allow the SuperUser permissions. Adjust the frequency you want and select "set on boot".

• Reboot your phone and done!
